Hi everyone! Thank you so much to everyone that has played our demo since our last update! We hope you've been enjoying the music in Level 1 and the tutorial reworks. Here is the demo's second update! As a reminder, for the duration of the demo we plan to put out small but more frequent updates like this one. Much of the content of these updates will include bugfixes, new features, and continued polish as we move towards Early Access. Without further ado, here are the big takeaways from Update 2:

Major Changes

• Level 2 -- Starburst and the cat further explore the cave as they practice a new song featuring a new object: the Boost!
• Boost Object -- This object will indicate when you need to play intervals that are fifths, sixths, and sevenths. An up arrow will indicate playing one of these intervals in ascending order to boost the cat up, and a down arrow will indicate playing the interval in descending order to boost the cat down. You must play the note on top of the object to get boosted!
• New Tileset -- The cave terrain will be more consistent and polished with our new tileset!
• Score Rework -- The player will no longer passively gain points by staying alive. Instead, all of your points will come from the traces and samples you collect, plus whatever your current multiplier and streak is.

Minor Changes

• Dialogue box fixes -- The dialogue box will now become semi-opaque when the cat goes behind it so you can see where you are.
• Level 2 splash screen -- Before playing Level 2, a splash screen will pop up describing the Boost object and how to interact with it.
• Level Selector instructions -- Some of you explained that it was confusing to know to click on the computer in the Level Selector, so we added some dialogue with Starburst to indicate that that's what you do to start a level!
